Hospital Order Treatment in the German State of Hessen

The Haina Forensic Psychiatric Hospital treats all mentally disordered offenders who receive hospital orders in the state of Hessen (population of approximately 6,000,000).

It has 422 beds distributed in 23 wards and a staff of approximately 440 people, including psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers, work therapists, teachers and nurses.
